COVER AND BASES: The cantilever parasol comes with all the pieces you need to fully get the best out of the piece. Featuring a great PVC coated cover for when you are not using the piece. Also 4 fillable bases which allow you to weigh the gazebo down when full of sand or water.
CRANK HANDLE: The free arm parasol features an easy to use crank handle, making the parasol easy to put up and take back down. The foldable design means the shelter folds into a small area which doesn't take up space in your garden or patio.
DURABLE DESIGN: Featuring 48mm steel poles, the powder coated frame is designed with British weather in mind. The solid frame is rust resistant and well constructed with a new pin connection design on the top hub. The fabric is 180g polyester with an airvent.
DIMENSIONS: When fully erected the parasol has a diameter of 3m and a height of 2.4m. When folded with the cover on the gazebo measures 2.55m height x 80cm width. The 4 base sections measure 48cm width/depth.

This was easy to put together, though heavy. It has a waterproof cover to keep it protected so no need to dismantle every winter. It’s a great size and excellent quality, easy to open and close.

Great looking parasol and really easy to use. Only downside I can give is it could be a little more stable at the top when up as the slightest wind does move it quite a lot. Could do with something to attach it better at the top to keep it stable

Well worth the money, and easy to erect. Would not recommend using with anymore than a slight breeze. Comes with cover and stores easily. Definitely fill the base corners with sand and water cozy it will go over.

I've had this parasol for about 10 days now and I've used it every day in my back garden. We're currently experiencing an extended period of hot weather in the UK and this parasol has allowed me to sit outdoors in comfort and out of the direct sunlight. I'm terrible at putting things together and suffer from mobility issues to but with my wife "helping" we were able to construct/put together this item in around 40 minutes.The instructions were nice and clear and no extra tools or equipment were needed to complete the job. The parasol is about 9 feet high (I'm 6'3" tall and can stand under it without even worrying about my head touching the top.) It has a very wide diameter (about 9 feet across) so it needs clear space when it is up (eg don't place it too close to your house.) The base is very stable and when the breeze gets up there is minimal movement of the whole structure. The crank mechanism is very good and puts the parasol up and down in seconds with little to no effort needed. It also comes with a decent cover for when the parasol is not in use (However, it does help to be quite tall to be able to place the cover over the top of the parasol!) This parasol has given my bark garden significant extra value in terms of being able to stay outside in the shade. I'm delighted with it!

I last wrote a review on 20.06.22, this was around when I had the parasol. So, over a year later I’ve decided to give a second review. At first being disappointed with the parasol I have to say it’s actually been extremely useful. I’ve used it so many times, especially when the dog wants to sit outside in the sun. Being a high maintenance dog he has his own garden chair and the parasol has done its job, kept the hot sun off me and the mutt. Yes it’s not as stable in a gusty breeze but having got used to it swaying slightly, I can confidently say it won’t take off or collapse in mildly breezy conditions. I didn’t think I’d say this but I love it, it’s easy to put up (no more trapped fingers) and take down and for what it costs it’s definitely worth it. It really does what it says on the tin. ****************************************************** It took me ages to out put this up on my own (I’m a single female). It was heavy and everything kept rotating and the instructions were rubbish. Eventually having mastered the installation, the slightest bit of breeze swayed the umbrella uncomfortably. I tried to wind the umbrella in which wasn’t a problem but to lower it caused my finger to become trapped between two metal poles and trust me when I say this, it hurt like hell. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it, pay a bit more and go somewhere reputable where you can speak to someone should any problems arise.

I hesitated about buying this because of one very negative review with video commenting on movement in wind. I’m glad I took the chance - it’s an excellent parasol and very robust. Large parasols are designed to have movement for safety reasons but it does not at all feel unsteady. With the inclusion of the base and cover it’s very good value and the parasol can easily be unscrewed and removed from base to store it away in winter or in particularly wild weather. Delighted with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Was pretty easy to put together, we filled the bases with sand and water as the clear instructions said, so I don't think it'll move or fall over, but I also don't think its fit for purpose; the parasol moves about a LOT in even the slightest of breeze, and the lack of tilt function is a fairly limiting factor. I'm also not sure how long the material will last as its only 180gsm, and the stitching isn't particularly good (threads seem to be coming away out of the box). It also makes some concerning cracks and creaks as it moves. Saying this, for the price it's OK, but subsequent research has revealed that there are better products on the market, and I personally would demand a bit more from my parasol, so I'll be returning it. Looking forward to getting all that wet sand out :(
