The engineering is very good 9/10, quality is 10/10, instructions 3/10. It is advertised as 15 minutes for a 2 person team. I challenge 2 expert assemblers to unpack the box (well packed and protected), identify the components (quite well labelled), and assemble using the approx 50 bolts and 50 washers, then fix the canopy (approx 20 more nuts onto the threaded runners). If it can be done I want to see it on a video (YouTube ?). It took us about 3 hours. (plus an hour to secure it to the patio). The pergola is lovely now erected, and suits it's purpose. Good value.

Purchased a 3m x 3m and its just the right size...fairly simple to assemble but you will need 2 of you...putting the sliding shade up is quite difficult...I started with the centre hook and worked outward....I have added a upvc corrugated roofing on mine so can sit outside even if it's raining!!!....with the posts I just filled them with gravel...so solid and saves drilling into my patio... Just to add...the inner dimensions are NOT 3m x 3m it is actually 2.6m x 2.6m The size quoted of 3m x 3m is the size of the longest top side bars...naughty..naughty!!!

After we had finished we laughed at the "Assembly: 2 people 20 mins" written on the packing. Set aside half a day at least. Assembling the cloth bit and poles is a faff, but overall pretty straightforward. The whole kaboodle looks great and works well.

Nicely made for the money and a very good paint finish. Shown in the pic without the canopy which we have parked for the winter. Pretty solid on build but do make sure you dont over-tighten bolts as it crushes the square sections. Supplied bolts are all zinc plated steel so will rust within a couple of years, so I swapped them out for A2 Stainless versions (M6x45 x 40 + M6x65 x 6 + M6 A2 washers x 50). Overall good value for money and only time will tell on longevity, but as the main frame is aluminium rather than steel - should last a lot longer.

Main issue with the product is a damaged part which we are yet to receive a replacement for as pictured. The waterproof cover for the shade cover is not waterproof, and I’m not sure how sturdy the structure is - it feels quite flimsy after screwing down the legs - time will tell. We have yet to fully assemble due to the damaged part supplied.

Bought this 4m x 3m Pergola in 2023. Bolted it to the patio flagstones and it has withstood all the storms of recent years as long as you retract the canopy. Unfortunately I left my canopy retracted during the winter and its now a gawdy shade of green. (Use the supplied winter cover to prevent this) Now trying to locate a replacement canopy !

Not the easiest to put up , it’s pretty sturdy but as for value for money it’s really not worth it, the pulley system has gone rusty and broken, the cover is filthy with no way of cleaning it unless you take it down ,the cover that comes with it just fills up with water when it rains,I’m hoping it can be mended if not then it’s not worth the money we paid
